My name is Jessie, these are my best friends, and Carte Blanche is our improbable food cart. Carte Blanche is a french term meaning the freedom to do whatever one likes. We chose this name because of our disdain for boring food situations and our love for genius cooking experiments, secret ingredients, and mouth epiphanies. The style of cooking you’ll find here is completely our own.
We use our favorite seasonal ingredients and cultural influences to dream up sandwiches, bowls, salads, and fried snacks. We love melted cheese and garlic, balsamic caramelized onions, mangoes and spice rubs, kaffir lime leaves in coconut milk, tater tots, silken tofu, charred scallion sour cream, candied bacon, rosemary beets, crispy shallots, beer braised ribs, chocolate chips, sticky rice, all mushrooms, sweet soy-glazed salmon, roasted squash, and fresh curry. And other things.
The menu rotates every three to four weeks, and will always be up to date on this website (we promise). Ingredients are organic, seasonal, and local whenever possible. And we always offer options for vegetarians, vegans, omnivores, children, musicians, and pets. Thank you for giving us this chance. We give you carte blanche with the results.
